Book: Papervision3D Essentials

First book about Papervision3D just came out. It’s called “Papervision3D Essentials“, for those of you who don’t know what Papervision3D is, it’s an open source 3D engine for the Flash platform (For more information visit google code). Papervition3D Essentials was written by Jeff Winder and Paul Tondeur. It covers most aspects of Papervision3D, contains 13 chapter and 428 pages. You don’t need to be a hard core Flash Player coder to understand this book, it’s also for beginners :) Here you can see the table of content.
Chapter 8: External Models is available for free, you can download the pdf file here.

You can buy this book in electronic format (pdf) or as normal paper book. It costs 31.49 euro for the paper version and 19.59 for the electronic version.

  • I think Paul and Jeff deserve some kind of compensation. It’s a great book, absolutely worth the money, thus, don’t share it. I’d like to read books like these in future, but if people go pirating about, it’s not going to happen.

  • I’m on chapter 10 of the book so far, and let me say is an awesome book! I had no prior knowledge in PV3D and this book got me up and running!
