What is your hourly rate as Flash Developer? – Poll results
I totally forgot about this poll which was closed few weeks back. The results are very interesting, 314 votes where received mostly from ActiveDen Flash Developers. As it clearly results from this poll it’s worth being a Flash Developer. Most of us earn $25-$100 (66% = $25-$50 32% & $51-100 34%) there are even some developers that charge over $300 for an hour of their work! By the time more and more people voted I got a feeling that I have to start charging more ;)
What do you think?

In my country, nobody would take on a contract at less than 100 dollars us an hour.
In other countries, say Viêt Nam, you might get a developer for four bucks an hour. Even in the US I’d guess that there are areas where cost of living and other factors influence the hourly rate.
Privat Bruger as you said Internet is universal thats why most of us don’t work for people next to us (not even in the same country) 90% of those votes where made by people from ActiveDen community and those guys work globally. It doesn’t meter if they sit in Vietnam on NYC. They do the same job. For example I don’t change the hourly rate on the bases of the location of my client.
Certainly hour rate vary with respect to geographical location(countries) and based on living expanses of an individuals. Also, these varies based on level of skilled developers as well.
